Is that a little too much...

flat tire = have to carry at least 2 to 3 jacks

like I said this VOLTEX kit was a waste of money...

VOLTEX charges all these high prices on their parts... spend all this money on wind tunnel testing... BUT I cant even change a tire with their/ this kit

Im pissed

The tires need to be flush with the fender and have a few inches to spare when they drop when the car is lifted.

Your only solution would be to get new tires or new wheels.
So youre saying lower the car/ the rear suspension????

are the fenders installed properly or maybe is it a manufacturer defect? Does anyone else with this kit have this problem? I'm thinking about getting them also but not if this is how the kit fits.

jack the car up one side at a time under the rear suspension. put the jack under the lower control arm. it will raise the car and tire as a whole maintaining the same wheel hight as if it was on the ground.

I guess what the OP is trying to say its that it should not require an act of congress to get the rear wheels off. I just ordered this kit but hopefully I wont have that problem since I will not be using the c-west sideskirts.

Jack the car up from the suspension arms, it will prevent the suspension from unloading.

Risky, as they are aluminum, but it is the only option , aside from jacking on the rear diff and pulling the wheels off once they are unloaded slightly.

The best way to do it is to remove the side skirts first when you want to work on the car.

We do this all the time.

But from looking at your pix, your setup is a bit different than ours. You have the C-West sides w/ Voltex kit.. the design is a bit different for sure..

Well you are running DMS coilovers, which have ALOT of rebound! That is bringing your wheel down farther than it would with the factory suspension. The rebound on some popular jdm coilovers like JIC, Zeal, Buddy Club, etc. have very little rebound, so your wheel won't go down as far while you jack your car up.

Long story short, when you jack your car up, with jdm coilovers with short rebound the wheels will lift off of the ground faster than they would with your DMS shocks.

I would just use (2) jacks as stated earlier. One for the body of the car, one for the susension arm or the tire.
