A bit different indeed.
I don't hate it and I understand the utility.
Please don't take this the wrong way, but do you really love the look of it or did you just want an Evo and need a wagon?
Props for owning something different.
And thanks for posting the pic. Do you have any pics of the back?

I do love it. I like that it doesn't attract the wrong sort of attention (police, thieves etc) because it's that bit more subtle without the rear wing. But I do get looks from the people that know what is.
I didn't need a wagon, what I needed was something a little more exclusive than other evos. I was originally going for the evo 6.5 (tommi makinen edition), but I figured in a couple years I was going to want something newer anyway. And this was only a couple thousand more than a tme. Ideally this will hold it's value a bit better than other evos because of the rarity too.
Thanks for commenting.

Trippy. It looks like a van or Volvo or something from the back. It's cool that you wanted something different, and I'd say you got that covered. Is the 2500 production number for the IX only? or for all years?
gearhead, love the car. What are the suspension specs?

They made 2500 IX wagons but they didn't do any wagons for any other versions. The closest is a Libero GT 1.8T 4WD, which is basically a lancer wagon turbo.
