You need to check into the COBB Tuning intercooler and piping (idk if they will ever make an evo unit) but its got carbon end tanks and true carbon piping, IIRC.

As for the cobb tuning intercooler pipe thread, you will see that I have been posting in there pretty regularly. I also E-mailed the Marketing division of Cobb tuning to ask about the construction.
I was thinking of making a carbon fiber intercooler pipe kit for the Evo, but there is just such a high investment cost to make a single design, then you start with all the whining
"Can I get one for my Brand X intercooler"
"can I get one for my brand x blow off valve"
"Can I get a larger one because I have a mini battery"
"Can I get one with a red weave to match my car"
The answer to all of those would be "No" so it's just not worth it to make the kit.
My next carbon fiber project is a tubular coffee table stand for my Volk/advan coffee table. (two 18" volk rims with Advan race rubber on their sides with a glass top, currently on a welded steel powder coated frame) but this will be in the spring of next year... I have to buy a house first. I'm currently doing all my work in a rented condo... if the owner knew what I was doing in her "vacation home" she would crap a brick.
