Non HID HL v.s. Stock HID HL

Not sure if this belongs in this section of the forum but eh, help me out anyways? so one of my buddies want HID's on his evo which doesn't have HID nor foglights, yeah i know people selling it so i got a price for him but he want 4000's which is around stock evo HID's so then we came to a questioning deal about him trading me his non hid nor foglight headlight for my Hid plus foglight headlight plus 300 hundred bucks on top. sound good or bad? any suggestions, anyone that's gone through this? help

Why would you swap your HID's for regular halogen lights? I wouldn't do it, but thats just me...

Don't do it. My car doesn't have HID's and if I was offered that trade I would think I was stealing from you!

You would be getting ripped off. I'd ask him for a LOT more than 300 bucks.
