I think that for $485.00 its not that much cheaper than the orginal which sells from around 599 and upwards to like 650. But you'd still need to remove or replace the rear crash bar. And, you'd need to get it painted whereas the original will come pre painted. Like any frp or fiberglass aftermarket body kit, a good body shop will get anything to fit. There's more money to spend. So here's the breakdown, assuming you aren't doing any of the work yourself.
With the Ebay bumper you have to pay $485.00 fot the bumper, then pay the body shopt to trim and prefit the bumper perfectly, then paint it, then modify the crash beam and re-attach it, then pay for the final install.
With JDM original you pay $500.00 - $650 for the pre painted bumper, pay for the crash beam mod and reattachment, then pay for the final install. So no pre-fitting and modifying of the bumper to make it perfect, and no painting with the original.

dont go cheap and get an ebay one. just get one that you know is gonna fit perfect since it is OEM and it comes prepainted. All you will have to do is get the crash beam modified. After everything you will have to do with the ebay one, it will probably be cheaper for the OEM one. Thats just my opinion

no dude it wasn't directed at you... i was just kidding. Sorry if I offended anyone... I just think its funny that some people do that. I just wonder why some people would take a VIII which is already a beast in its own right and then turn it into a fake something else. Its like putting MR badges on a non MR Evo... Why? Back on topic though, like I said, I think the Ebay bumper that you are talking about looks just as good as the real JDM bumper.

I saw another JDM copy but it had a carbon fiber diffuser.... What do you think of this?

If you can get a body shop to properly fit it, this would be a better "knock off" at only $290.00
