Use the anti-fog. It's got an alcohol content of some sort in it so it may evaporate faster, but I dunno what would happen as far as leaving a film or whatever if you introduced it to the IC like that.

the intercooler spray isnt to clean the intercooler, its to cool it. I don't see how rain-x would have any advantage over water. I would stick to distilled water in summer time, then windsheild fluid in winter.

I wonder if you took regular rain-x and added in some water wetter.
It may just help the water cooler faster. But I am not sure what dired water wetter does to the intercooler surface.
A good product they may come out is a standalone tank you can pipe the sprayer to.

i dont understand why you want to put rain-X in the intercooler spray... that would mean there would be a wax coating on the intercooler to reduce the efficiency... why would u wanna do that? you DO know rainX is wax, right?
now i would consider rainX on the windshield wipers but i've seen when rainX when its not polished right away and it leaves a really ugly residue....
so to answer your question, wipe rainX on by hand and stop being lazy

I tried windshield solvent and noticed that it does evaporate faster .....meaning better heat absobtion....meaning works better on an intercooler.... sounds like good logic. Hey why not add water wetter too!!!!
However windshield solvent and additives like that have the alchol content for faster drying but is also has the antifreeze addatives too. I am not big on spraying antifreeze all over my engine compartment.
Oh, and it evaporates faster which means that the little hole in the intercooler cap (yea, go look - there is one) means that while parked or just rollin around you will loose solvent at a higher rate than water.
My choice....water.

i read somewhere water is recommended for sti intercooler sprayer but not evo to prevent fungus buildup....
as for n2o, its more for looks then solid performance gain because the intakes have been known to inject n2o and actually negate any gains you made via a colder IC.
