Looks like you had fun and happy birthday. Now I have a question for you:
On your evo (red VIII), why not rearrange it so that the DV is mounted on the UICP? What I mean is, put the DV so that there is little to no hose between the charge pipe/UICP, and the longer hose would go from the DV back to the intake. That way there is less volume that the turbo has to pressurize before it reaches the TB. This would also mean less volume before the DV diaphragm, which you want to respond as quickly as possible.
I am not trying to be overly critical, and I'm not sure if it would make a big noticeable difference, but that would seem like the most efficient setup.
