Are you guys just guessing on fitment?

18x9.5 anything would be stupid on the widebody. even with spacers would be stupid.

That's an awesome comment buddy I'm on 9.5 and they fill the wide fenders just fine. Actually the fronts are slightly past the fenders. The rears are right at the fender.

Well one he just painted his car and probably doesn't want Rock chips or Bug juice acid eating away at the paint and two Paint takes weeks to fully cure up

rdwngs44 is sitting at a 0 offset with his spacers and has a 9.5" wide wheel. I had 10.5" wide wheels with a +15 offset and no spacers. Since my wheels are about 25mm wider than his. my wheels would sit out further with the lower offset and being wider. I have roughly 12.5mm on each side of the wheel more than his 9.5" wide wheels + my offset is 5mm less than his so add +5mm to how much more mine would stick out and My wheels would sit out 17.5mm more than rdwngs44. But throw his 20mm spacer behind his wheels and he is now sitting 2.5mm farther out than mine.

My 10.5 +15 sat really flush with my Fenders and looked great so I imagine that rdwngs44 being 2.5mm more than mine (not a big difference at all too) would sit very flush as well

While we are on the topic of offset. Someone school me on this, I have 18x9 +28 Advan RS. If I just get the front fenders, would it look funny with the size/offset? Would any spacers cure this? I'm gonna look into some wider and low offsets TE's eventually but not until later this year.

yea it would look sunken in a bit. but it wouldn't look THAT bad. I used to run advan rs 18x9 +29 with garageHRS fenders.

Also u can run some spacers in the meantime if you really wanted to be more flush.

Im just saying with a 9.5 your going to need atleast a zero offset to be anywhere near flush. You can go with a 9.5 and run 275/35 all around and be tire flush but i would have to change the statement of

"I think 9.5 is too small for widebody Evo's"

Yes i drive the car all the time and all over. And i cant take a picture to save my life..

I did however run over a screw up here and had to call my brother to come over to where i was and help patch it up in the parking lot.

So im in Connecticut and iam getting looks like "WTF" from every tuner around here as if i have done something unheard of. They dont know what to do i guess. There is not alot of cars around that i have seen so far.

yeah occasionally i run a set of ssr type-f's in 18x9.5 +12 with a 15mm spacer so really a -3 offset once it's all said and done and that fits ok. still has room to move out a bit but i needed the 9.5 to run the 255's that redline requires for street class. i also have a set of 18x10 +15 ame's that definitely fit better but those also have 285/35/18 r888's on them so that fills the fender a bit more as well.

All taped up before i left CT to come back to VA.

For those who dont do it or are against taping there front bumper on long distance drives.

- I didnt tape sections on the leg up there and now i have little rock chips missing from the bumper and one on the hood.

So on the way back i taped it really good. 6$ of tape which is just 1 roll is much cheaper then a new paint job or a detail job to get the bugs off the car as well.

It is so easy to just pull the tape back off and have a fresh clean bumper.
