paid $970 bucks for my diffusor when everyone now pays less than half that and I don't regret it. Rather have quality made parts.

Your analogy between Voltex/Varis and Duracell are way off-base.

On another point, you don't see off-brand items blatantly advertising "Duracell style or General Mills style" items. It usually says WalMart cornflakes, Wal Mart batteries. For some reason in the Evo community, putting style at the end of a copied product makes it acceptable.
Oh BS. Air Jordans (or whatever expensive crap shoes as an example) are limited production and are geared towards a niche market as well and are not in danger from cheaper shoes that most of us wear.

Voltex has priced their product because of name brand recognition. With competitors pricing their products significantly under Voltex, Voltex has decided they are not going after the mass market. Just like Jordan's could sell for significantly less but they choose not to. They have their target market.

If the brand dies because they are unwilling to change their target market, that is their fault. Not the fault of consumers or companies willing to fill the void.

I would love the real voltex diffuser but its too pricey. Even saving the money I find it too much at the time to buy

Have any of you compared the Rexpeed diffuser to the Voltex, side by side? Only way I could tell the difference was one had a Voltex sticker and one didnt. The brackets, fitment and quality all seemed the same.

They are different side by side. The Voltex one is slightly better quality, the Rexspeed one is completely carbon on the bottom and the Authentic Voltex has a painted underside in the center section. Pics below.

Rexspeed For Evo:

Voltex (This one is for a SUBARU, but same finish and similar design. Best Picture I could find showing what I am talking about):

I also just wanted to share this funny old picture of my Street Voltex Front bumper doing a neighborhood service a few winters back after a winter snow storm

Just doing my part of community service you know
