Just add a layer of fiberglass if its flimsy to you

 

Hey I'm looking through this thread right now but to make my search quicker does anyone have any pictures of painted Voltex hoods or Voltex Style? My Voltex kit and a hood is at the body shop waiting for paint. I remember seeing some painted differently? I'm trying to figure out if I should paint the side vents or paint match them. Help please? I'll post pictures of my car in return after I get it back!

Thanks, your car was one of the pictures I had of one painted with vents. I think I'm just going with the whole paint matched look.

 

Cool man I think It looks better all painted or just CF personally. I am redoing mine now so it will look different this spring

Yeah I figured I'd try out something. Hopefully I can get some pictures shot after I get my car back with the Voltex kit on next week. I still need order my FMIC though

 

Ah yes, many new things to come in about a month... Mainly a freshly built 2.3. And some more voltex fun!

 

the dry carbon one weighs just under 9lbs.
the normal carbon/fiberglass one weighs just about the same as stock. i think a lb or two heavier. can't remember anymore
