Actually, these ones have two rubber stops on the inside. It never even touches my tint. The only way that I can see these things affecting a tint job is if the tint was applied to the outside of the window. Then it would pose an issue.

And as he stated, they don't come into contact with the inner window, only the outside and top edge, so there's no chance of scratching the tint. I have very dark tint on my personal Evo and have run these for over a year without a single issue.
They might not be the cheapest, but they are CNC cut, then professionally powdercoated. They fit like a glove and are quite durable. We had a customer pay $300 for a set in carbon, and an instructor at Summit Point actually removed them because they were on the edge of flying out of the car at high speeds. We can assure you, these will not come out, no matter the speed.
