with my topmount turbo setup I am having a problem keeping rust buildup off the compressors backplate on my 42R and the turbos center section. I could make a plate to block off the vent in the hood which would keep the rain water off the engine/turbo but the vent is functional and Id like to retain it.

has anyone had luck with a brush on coating or paint that will not allow rust to buildup as easy on their turbo components? I cant find much that is going to be able to take the heat of a turbo application.
