Considering my first EVO blew the transmission at 1,700 miles I'd say you're right The BMW overall just feels 10x more solid.

And thank you everyone, I love it so far

Nice pics, but comparing the Evo to a E46 M3 is not really a apples to apples comparison. The BMW has much better fit, finish and creature comforts than the Evo.

You'd have to pay the price of a used Evo to be able to duplicate the acceleration performance of of an Evo in the E46. A stock VIII/IX would run circles around any stock E46 on any road course with drivers of equal ability. The E46 however does inspires more confidence at speeds above the legal limit though.

Both are nice cars, but very different, congrats on your purchase.

Nice car, but I think I'd rather have my Evo. Just personal preference, I guess. I used to really like BMWs, but recently I've been liking them less and less. Couldn't really exactly say why. Congrats on the car tho, still a sweet ride.

Who the hell are you to tell me? No I did not crash them or the STI. Considering my Dad owns a car dealership I switch cars pretty frequently. Just because I am young doesn't mean I am the average teenage bum...I know what I'm doing.

And about crashing...I'm sure I could out drive you anyday.
