After 3 EVOs, 2 STIs, and 1 Jeep SRT8....I moved up! [PICS]
This car is ****ing sick. I just got a 2006 BMW E46 M3 Coupe and this thing is sweet. After having several EVOs and STIs this thing takes the cake IMHO and many others. The interior is immaculate, the paddle shifts are fun and quick, and the exterior is just as good.
After having the cars I mentioned I rate them...
E46 M3 > EVO > STI > SRT8 Jeep
The EVO and STI are very close but the EVO just feels a lot better in many ways. I'm not gonna sit here and describe them as you all know the EVO is better and you should have experience in both.
The SRT8 Jeep being AWD too was a lot of fun, but just in a straight line. It did handle good but it cannot be compared to an EVO or STI. Plus the gas pump was more frequent stop than my own house.
But anyway here is a bunch of pictures today with my neighbor's Apex Silver EVO IX MR....

and because I know the question is going to be asked...we did go at it...of course! The final results / observations of the pull...
Not the best write up in the world, but my hands hurt and you get the point I hope you enjoy the pics. Drive safe.

- The EVO got an early jump from brake boosting / turbo
- The M3 began to pull from that point on...
- When the EVO had to shift I was only at 5500 - 6000 RPM
- The M3 still could go to 8300 RPMs or so
- So while the EVO shifted I passed him
- and from there the M3 stayed on top with a better top end and the paddle shifts in sport mode put out a much smoother / quicker shift
- BOTH CARS WERE STOCK (EVO vs M3)
Not the best write up in the world, but my hands hurt and you get the point I hope you enjoy the pics. Drive safe.

Get ready to be in the shop more then on the street. Once the BMW starts to let go you are F***. My family changed from European cars to Japan.. cars just for that fact. My parents don't drive hard at all and the car where crap. Be carefull for volvo S80 T6 Don't race them from a roll or they will make you feel like a little kid A better choice would have been the 335 but then again reliability sucks. Good Luck

Congrats bro
an M3 was my other choice b4 the EVO but the payment was going to be alot higher so I figured the EVO was more practical & I'm able to save the extra money towards a house where I can have both cars parked in my driveway
I really was looking at a Alpine White convertible w/ the red brick color int. SICK
