Ive been making things out of Carbon Fiber latley. How am i doing?
I have been trying to make some CF peices.. LMK what yo guys think... thanks for looking, Nemo

not bad, judging from the pics u need to polish out a few things like where the radio goes. but overall cool!

looks good. Like I said on AZAWD, start making double-din plates and you'll become wealthy since Orbital is pretty much MIA. lol.

I know, im not too concerned because i have a in-dash dvd and will put pics up when i get it back in my car...

They are really wavy. You need to work on the mold. You aren't just laying up on top of the piece you are trying to make are you? That would make the Plug cover have those radiused edges and generally look like poop.

Not as easy as it looks, is it? This is why you have to pay big bucks for QUALITY carbon fiber! I give you credit for tying though.

I haven't seen anyone bashing him, just offering constructive criticism.

Judging by the way these things look and you saying you need another center piece I get the impression you are just laying up on top existing pieces. That will never look good.

You need to make a fiberglass mold of the piece you are trying to replicate. then lay the carbon up in that and vacuum bag it.
