My Evolution VIII - Tail of the Dragon Pictures!!
Hey guys, last week my girlfriend and I went on a mini-vacation to Gatlinburg. On the way there we decided to stop by Deal's Gap "Tail of the Dragon". It was my first jount down the road (pretty sad considering I live around 1 hour away). The coilover'd EVO really streched it's legs there and I had a complete blast. After 318 turns in 11 miles your arms definately get a good work out! I will be going back soon for sure!
We got behind an 18-wheeler on the road which was a nitemare for 11 miles. Seen an unfortunate motorcycle fall victim to the dragon also. While passing the overlook at 5k RPM, I passed 2 cops who ripped their head around and radio'd for help, fortunately nothing came of it.
Well, here are my pictures. Hope you guys enjoy.
Killboy got some killer pictures of the car in action that I plan on purchasing in the very near future!
PS: The last 2 pictures were for your humor. From a hotel in Pigeon Forge I was bored and watched this nice redneck feller help his girlfriend fix her badazz mustang. He came to the rescue in his ballin dodge. Wow was was bored!

Imagine the crocodile hunter saying the next part in a really low voice:
"and to your left we have a typical redneck, this one is clearly balding, but still keeps it real by sporting the infamous "Mullet". We don't recommend this to anyone, but notice how he pours straight water into the broke down mustang's radiator. By doing so, he will have effectively dilluted the 50/50 mixture of coolant to water, thus lowering the efficiency of that particular car's heat dissipating abilities. I am almost willing to bet that he tightens all his lug nuts down with an impact gun"
The local tire place here lives by the code: impact gun or bust. Even after I told them not to use the impact gun to tighten the nuts, he goes ahead and does it anyway all the while stripping one of the lugs. Sorry for getting off topic.
