The HDR "effect" is done by taking the same shot on a tripod three time, under exposed, normal and over exposed. Then using photoshop to compile the images to generate and HDR image.

The ARC splitter isn't that big of a pain, I had it installed on my previous RalliArt lip and now this new lip. It requires drilling into the lip yourself. And I had to do a little modding for the splitter to fit on the new lip.
