That'll buff right out
Actually, I'm hoping it will.
Had a minor bump into my wife's SUV. The results is a 3/4 inch strip of paint missing which I covered with Mitsu OEM paint and did a horrible job. There's also about a 6" dent. Here are pics:
I haven't had time to go to a body shop to get an estimate, I plan to later this week. In the meantime, if any of you are knowledgable on this subject, can this be fixed or does the damn rear quarter panel have to be replaced?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the replies.
Visited a body shop down the road from work a few minutes ago and they would fix the dent and the missing paint for $396.
I'm trying to figure out if that's a decent price or not, I may have to visit a few other shops to get another few estimates.

Paintless dent removal... look one up from a local car forum if you can't find one here....
Get an opinion first from a PDR before you decide to slap on some bondo.
For the paint... i wouldn't use the oem stuff that you buy from the dealership. Get it from paintscratch.com.

Like others have said, a good PDR guy should be able to get that dent without an issue but that paint scrape has body shop written all over it. If you have a body shop do it all, the quarter definitely would not need to be replaced.
