Look What Showed Up At my Stairway: D2 BBK inside!!!

this was the last part part that was on the wish list for the spring...next mod will be my stroker block from buschur:

just abouut finishing the break-in period..so far the breaks are incredible..very smooth and the pedal feel is amazing..very stiff and responsive..

the weigh much lighter than the stock although they are 8 PoT and 14" discs..break lines..pads and everything is needed..the instructions were so easy and clear..took me about 2 hours total..
i had to shave a little bit of the dust/heat cover thats between the disks and brake line/control arm..it rubbed a little on the back of those massive disks.

on to the pics:

photoshoot of the full car with all the mod list is coming up soon...keep an eye open...

thanks for looking

respect,
Moosa

Looks good. Wasn't too sure how the D2 brakes were, but your review seems pretty positive! With 8 pistons that thing better stop on a dime!

believe me..i was as sceptical as you...however..i have a couple of friends here locally using them in as much as third season of consecutive auto-x and drag abuse...in hondas, evo's and supras..and they are pretty damn happy with them...and to my surprise they are all champions in the classes they compete in..

i have been using D2 products for a while now..i have had their suspension on my evo for 2 years exactly now ad i really like them...they have held up well..

best part is that they come at a very affordable price with a very very good warranty!!

I've never heard of anyone using an 8 pot BBK on an Evo before. Are you going to put some bigger brakes in the rear to even things out?
