Adding Some Aero

I'm getting started developing an Aero Package for my car.

I'm planning on basing the aero package on the following:

- adjustable front canards.
- adjustable rear gurney flap.

possible options will include:

- side spats.
- wicker bills for splitters in front of the tires.
- rear bumper venting.

This weekend I got my car fitted with canards, spats (old actually), wicker bills on the underside of the splitter and an air dam on the splitter. I'll get the gurny flap and rear bumper venting going in the next week or so.

Yeah, all these parts are going to be down the function over form vein. I happen to really like the industrial look of exposed rivets and such but it's not for everyone.

The adjustment brackets for the canards are also a bit bulky in terms of an "eyesore" but that's where the magic is. There are plenty of companies who can sell you static canards that allow for no aero tuning.

I haven't got to the rear in terms of building the prototype parts yet.

I like the look but I would prefer if they were black, it would go well on any color that way.

The aluminum flashing/air dam on the splitter is to seal off the gap that naturally exists when an APR splitter is put on a VIII bumper. All the cool people do it - see below.

Quite interesting, defiantly very industrial looking. Would have to agree that black would be better looking though. So far so good!

jid - this is what happens when you put this stuff in the "Show & Shine" section

I'm holding out for a trick splitter - Emphasis on sturdy and functional
