Mine was stolen two nights ago along with my helmet, ipod, and stereo...Damn thieves.

Why would an officer pull you over? Is it illegal in your state? I believe radar detectors are illegal only in 2 states, one being Virginia.

About the setup:
that f*ckin sick. I gotta get that. Especially here in VA where radar detectors are illegal. That setup is just perfect.

its not illegal in jersey but when you do get pulled over and they see u have one in the car, chances are they are going to give u a harder time

He just summed it up quite well If you get pulled over, it's another item they will most likely issue a ticket for. In NJ, chances are you're going to get a harder time from the LEO and also an "Obstruction of View" ticket for having the radar detector

He had a shop do it professionally and it cost him quite the pretty penny It's SO sick though!

It was mentioned that the V1 might not pick up laser from where it is mounted in the rear deck... this is negligible because if you are picking up laser with your V1 and you are speeding, chances are the LEO will be pulling out behind you regardless of how much you brake because you are caught!

yeah, your in big trouble if you think a v1 is going to help at all when it comes to lasers. the only thing that helps is a shifter...

Call Valentine Research at 1 800 331 3030 and tell them your V1s were stolen and give them the serial numbers so they can flag them. If the thief or whoever the thief sells the V1s to tries to send them in to be fixed or updated, Valentine Research will contact you and hold them.
