JDM Bumper with Greddy EVO2 (uncut)? *searched*

Hey guys,

I searched already but only found 1 pic (and it's at a bad angel) I wanted to see what the Greddy Evo2 looks like with the JDM bumper. It looks like it's *borderline* so I want to see if I need to get the tip cut or not. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Please don't cut the exhaust, if one day you decided to put the stock bumper back
then what you gonna do?

no, what if I want to put stock bumper back? the invidia sticks out even more than greddy evo2 with stock bumper. this also keeps the sound out of the car b/c the tip is extended out. after first I didn't like it, after a while I don't even think about it.

Thanks for the pics fugiwara, you're still my boy! My Greddy Evo2 is the only thing stopping me from getting a JDM rear.

So you would have to cut it at the tip to get it to fit right?

What letter in the etched Greddy would you guys cut to? Looks like I'd cut it right before the e, then Greddy would say eddy which kinda sucks!!!

I don't think you cut it from the tip...you cut it from the exhaust piping to move the whole muffler farther in...

Hmmm it depends on where the exhaust brackets are mounted. On the Greddy Evo2 the brackets are off the canister of the muffler, so cutting the piping after the muffler will do nothing for moving the tip back. If you want to do it right you need to cut the tip off at the can, trim it the back of the tip and reweld it. Then the etched Greddy on the tip will be preserved.

i'm pretty sure you would not want to cut the tip...you cut tubing so the whole muffler moves back. I'm sure a muffler shop with do something else to the mounting brackets
