Thats what I plan on doing. I'm just gonna replace all the stock bulds with the original colors. I think making the cluster a brighter red and the HVAC a brighter white would look nice. I though about putting a red Defi racer gauge on the steering colum and doing the GruppeS triple pod and do some Defi white racer gauges. Sounds cool in my head, just not sure how it'll look once its done.

Yes it's an old thread and yes I'm necro bumping it.

I don't want to start a new thread on this.

Anyone know if the keyring, cigarette lighter and HVAC all use a 74 size bulb?

I'm looking at getting some low light LEDs for this.

EDIT: Google FTW: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/la...placement.html

^ Hey Golgo

I bought the 74 from AUtolumination.com and the dont fit into the HVAC like the pic above. They seem like they are 1 cm too short to fit into the lock base.

I really want that look like the HVAC above

74-bhp3 from superbrightleds.com fit the HVAC like a glove and come in a variety of colors. Make sure you get the 360* light spread so you have an even glow.

Will that bulb size work in the gauge cluster?

Honestly not sure. I've haven't had the cluster apart yet, only the HVAC.

The 74 bulbs will work, but you need to also buy the bulb housing or twist socket to put the led bulb in. You won't be able to put the led bulb in the oem bulb socket.

Thanks for the info. Can i reuse the ones currently in or do I need to buy the twist socket brand new from the dealer?
