Cool piece. I'm willing to bet that after some hard testing data and some necessary adjustments, it will be an effective piece without heat becoming too much of an issue.

This is an awesome piece and count me in if you mass produce! ^_^ i was wondering if you split it into 2 pieces instead of having the crease in the middle would that be detrimental to the airflow? and I think that would help in keeping the heat problem at bay. Just a thought. Good Luck on a badass project!

Went to the track yesterday and put some testing into this. I didn't get any instrumentation on the car, just felt around after each session. Overall I'd say the bottom undertray is not creating any negative impact on the thermal situation under the car. With a one lap cool down after a hard 20 min session at WOT the undertray was absolutely COOL when I got to the pits. I would then let my car idle for 10 mins and the undertray remained cold to the touch.

If any excess heat was being created the underpanel would have got at least warm.

I'll still be doing some testing with temperature probes just to validate that with some hard numbers, but the rough testing looks positive.

I had the car up around 130+ mph and non of the aero parts including the side skirts or undertray flew off the car - which is always good.

Here's a good pic of the side skirts.

Keep your eyes out for a thread on the side-skirts being available to buy, should be very soon. They are the first part required for the flat bottom setup. I have a quick lead time for those parts and the quality is excellent. Stay tuned!

Looks like a winner!

Wouldn't this actually help with gas mileage?

Here are some slightly better pics. I'll do a little photoshop action to better show the bottom tomorrow.

There are four types of panels so far on the bottom:

1. Splitter Area. This is the part attached to the bumper. Could be APR, Beatrush, Stock or whatever.
2. Chassis Brace Panel. This panel spans the gap between the splitter the end of the downpipe. It connects at the rear chassis brace near the flange of the downpipe.
3. Side Skirts. These panels go from the factory side skirts to the inner box frame of the chassis, one per side.
4. Center Panel. This fills the gap between the side skirts and is directly under the exhaust. It runs from about the end of the downpipe to the front edge of the gas tanks.

Then nobody could afford it . Carbon wouldn't work under the exhaust it's an insulator.
