Fireball, any chance of doing these pillars in 60mm? I've also got a 60mm Greddy gauge and was planning on using all 60s. Unfortunately also, I don't have a Dremel tool handy to sand it down... And I want this damn pillar!!!

it comes pre formed for 52mm

use a regular file from a hardware store (a couple might be good, but make sure you dont use anything too rough, but not so fine that you'll be at it for hours,, finish with a very fine file)

only need to take off 4mm and you'll be good

well, i got the pod, and the 52mm fits GREAT

but there is NO WAY a 60mm will fit in there (i ruind the bottom gage mount trying) there's just not enough material to work with

Sooo... Learn from my $160 dollar mistake..

DO NOT TRY AND FIT a 60mm Gage in this pod

Looks like i'll be going with the CF ones after all.. hehe

I could salvage it and cut the bottom gage thing out and make it a tweeter window.. but i want 3 gages..

if anyone else wants to try that and wands a 2 gage a pilar that fits 52mm I'll sell you mine, just make an offer

I understand that it is custom work, but nevertheless i think that waiting for a big company to sell them for much cheaper may be a better option for me, especially when the custom piece comes with consequences like a covered tweeter.

But post some pics and maybe ill have second thoughts.
i agree
