STM's new Front-mounted Turbo setup!

Why do you cause drama with every single of my posts? Have I done some thing to egregiously offend you?
The turbo size doesn't make it over the top, a rotated front mounted 67 trim imho is overkill for what I would imagine that car is built for, if going larger in size it might make sense.
Because a forward facing turbo is something you do when you have gotten to the point of being restricted by an intake pipe, or a filter. Not only that but to such a degree that your car is going to gain a performance advantage whilst risking the life, integrity, and safety of your turbo, by not only having the ***** to run it without a filter, mesh, or screen, but turn it TOWARDS the opening of the grill in order to get the coolest, freshest source of air.
I am all about making power, but there are things I am not willing to do to make a couple more, this is one of them.

The reason we went forward facing is for the air temps. We are trying to go 9.xxx on the stock motor and we felt this was one thing that would help. We do not need a bigger turbo because that would just put an end to the stock motor.
The set up may or may not work for us but we will find out tomorrow.
After we accomplish our goal we will be building a motor and going a little bigger in turbo.
Thanks

YUP and that is reallllllly impressive.
Either a testament to the level of attention paid to the tune, or factory freak I tend to lean towards the tuner/builder knowing how to not throw timing at a car without being careful.

Or you could use one of Emery's thigh hi's with the pink bow. Just clamp it on so you can still see the bow, and you will be good to go.
P.S. Tell Emery my motor is out of the car now.
