Yeah, the Works don't have centercaps, so I just sprayed my spindles flat black for a cleaner look.

Hey guys well if any of you want some swift springs I got some for sale! I just took them off my 03 evo bc I got coilovers...I got about 9 thousand miles on them...I'm letting them go for $275 shipped

I think Positron is trying to say stock wheel locks are made for stock wheels with a shank style lug seat on the wheel. Your aftermarket wheels have a tapered seat. So the locking nuts are not meant for to be used on your aftermarket wheels. In fact it will probably damage it and not work properly.

Another note is that if anyone switches from 18" wheels to 17" wheels alot these are great because it doesn't drop the car so low that 18's will cause any trouble. The Work's on my car in the first few pics of this post are 18's.

That is what I meant yes. Using stock lug or stock locking nut can damage aftermarket rim lug hole.

Aren't the spring rates A LOT higher than the Sports Mach and isn't the drop exactly the same as the Sports Mach????

Well that's the thing...the main difference is that the Spec-R are a progressive spring while the Sport Mach's are not. I daily drive my car on some of the worst roads in CA and I am perfectly fine on these. They are much smoother than any coilover setup you could run on the street IMO.

Wrong.

Both are progressive.

Sports and Spec Rs have the same lowering.

oh, my bad for misunderstanding.

They aren't stock lugs or locks. They are aftermarket McGuard's. They have a tapered, conical seat just like the Black Muteki lugs I'm using. I've been using them since I got the wheels in April, probably about 10k miles. I haven't noticed any uneven wear, fitting, or anything out of the ordinary.
