98 Mirage to Evo 6.5 TME

Thanks, and you're right on the parts being the most difficult and time-consuming aspect. So many things just bolt-on, and the car even has some built-in driveshaft hangers. The Evo has a few more body-bracing panels throughout (near strut towers, rear seat cross bar, lower control arm) to name a few, but so much is already on the Mirage.
Right now I'm going to set up the AWD system using OEM mounting points, but maybe down the road I will switch to an OEM Evo floor to keep everything original. I won't stop until every last detail is covered.

You need to remove a lot of excess sheetmetal covering the mounting holes, along with some hammering. The only thing I forsee a problem with now is the upper control arm cups on the frame rail and the front differential mounts.

Need some input here. Got some genuine E6 tail lamps, but I can't decide which style of garnish I want.
Option one:
Option two:
More of option two:
Also a little update on the AWD swap. Realized the mustache bar mounts on top of the subframe, so it looks like a section of the rear floor will have to go. Re-welding a new piece of sheetmetal will look much cleaner than a banged up section of floor. Also I may be able to use Evo 8 suspension cups by removing the spot-welds and welding it on my stock rails. All that leaves to fabricate after will be the differential mounts, and those could easily be custom made.

I'm going to keep the red/clear ones on there, maybe use the fog lights when I go to car shows. Anyhow with that out of the way...
Rear differential has been mounted to the subframe! (Still need to mount it to the chassis).
Oh yeah, I had to cut a giant hole in my rear floor to make it fit:
I need to find a wrecked Evo, or at least someone willing to send me some frame rail parts. I need 1x suspension cup from a passenger side frame rail. I figure I can drill out the spot welds and transfer it to my Mirage rails, should solve the suspension issue. I already have the driver side to experiment with.

a little weight reduction in the trunk floor! haha looks to me like the trunk lights arent the same shade of red? they look darker than the tail lamps and dont match. maybe a bad pic? looks the same (darker)on the red mak too..
