After two weeks of dealing with a courier, my seats are finally on their way. Should be at my door by the 17th, so I'll make sure to update when they get here.
And to those asking, I bought the seats on eBay UK. I think there is a set for sale right now, but it's difficult arranging shipping. I paid close to $600 just on the shipping.
@fanmail, I purchased it from JapPerformanceParts in the UK, however rumor has it they will not be supplying floors any longer. Rumor also has it that Evo 8/9 floors fit, however I cannot confirm this.

Man, I just read all 47 pages. Wow. I've built 3 Mustangs, an 11:1 Civic, and now my current Evo in the exact time frame you've done the conversion (Started Sr. Year in High School as well).
I'm jealous man. I wish I would've stuck with one of em' and fell in love with it like you have.
Congrats.

Never ending project, eh? You and my long-time friend say the same thing.
However, when I start on my Evo IV conversion project, I'm determined that it will eventually end, because there's almost only one specific way I want my Mirage to turn out. (Not sure if I want to drop a 4G63-T in it, or tune the stock engine a bit)
Hell, if I were in your shoes, I think the conversion project would've ended almost exactly right now, especially after seeing those TME seats!!

I just went through the entire thread, fantastic progress. I was hoping it'd be finished by the time I got to the end! Haha. You've done a great job, I love seeing projects like this continued on without being given up on. Keep it up!!

it's a disgrace how the USA cannot import these cars. I have mine sitting here gathering dust with 28k miles on the clock and cannot find a buyer in Ireland because of the downturn and here we have a guy building one from scratch at a greater cost no doubt than buying one. it's a messed up world

Wait, if a vehicle is 25 years old, you can import them to the states?

pretty much,
straight from the NHTSA website.
Under 49 U.S.C. 30112(a) a person may not permanently import into the United States a motor vehicle manufactured after the date that an applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standard (FMVSS) takes effect unless the vehicle complies with the standard and is so certified by it's original manufacturer. This prohibition applies to both new and used motor vehicles, but does not apply to motor vehicles that are at least 25 years old (based on the date that the vehicle was manufactured.)
