Flat black painted carbon fibre hood and wheels

Hello all, I am in need of some advice on a few things. I am planning on painting my carbon fibre hood flat black and also my wheels. I have the Enkei FN10R-c. Has anyone ever done this before? Or have pictures of a similar set up? Thanks

I've seen it before on a wrx and I did not like the hood in flat black... personaly I would do the wheels and keep the hood in cf finish or paint it the color of the car

Well I have both hood and trunk both CF. Got any quick pics of that set up? I know pics hardly do justice sometimes if not most but hey its a start right? I'm doing some searching myself!

LOL I don't think anyone else caught it either

Anyway, I'd say do it. Do the wheels flat but color match the carbon to the paint of the car.

Haha shhhh I couldn't remember the exact name of the wheels. Mmm I think I may just end up doing the wheels only. Still thinking though

best way to get rid of the gloss on the clear coat would to be DA full hood down with some 400 grit then go to some 600 grit and have some one at a body shop spray on some flat cleat coat. I have done few hoods and trunks for people and it turns out great and still has protection on the hood when it is all done right
