does anybody have a picture of the evolution IX badge on their trunk? better if its not at an angle but rather from tailight to tailight. i just got the badge but it didnt come in its original "form" so i am trying to get some sort of a guide to properly align them.

i am terribly sorry i was not specific, i meant the UK edition badge. the large evolutoion IX badge.

just put it about a half inch above the crease and center it.

 

the evolution VII was just "evolution" above the crease, the evolution VIII was "evolution viii" above the crease. Evolution IX was below the crease.

IMO it doesn't look bad below the crease if you still have the diamond above it, but if you remove the diamond and then put it below the crease it doesn't look as good. Mine's above the crease (no diamond).

Best tip I can give you is to get yourself some blue painter's tape (the kind that doesn't stick very well to surfaces, blue masking tape) and measure out the center point, measure out how far above the crease you want it, and use the masking tape to hold the cardboard alignment guide to the trunk (should have got one with the badge).

 

mine is above the crease too, with no emblem because it's on a chargespeed carbon trunk.
