JDM Rear, possible no muffler showing/ muffler delete

Even with people shortening their exhausts their muffler is normally hanging out, and to me I would hate that. I am about to go buy my JDM rear tmw, and am planning to buy my exhaust in the next few days.
Has anybody modified their exhaust where their muffler is almost hidden from the back/side, if possible post pics / description of what you did!

the closest I have seen is the buschur "jdm solution" thread david posted on his own evo.

AMS and ETS also make exhausts specific for the JDM rear

I don't know about the ETS one but if you go to AMS website, the JDM rear might be short enough, but I honestly can't stand seeing the entire muffler from behind my car, its just hideous imo.

if you get a true JDM exhaust from any manufacturer, it'll fit the JDM rear obviously...because all JDM evo's have the JDM rear lol i should have bought a JDM HKS carbon Ti when i got mine. when i have time, i'm going to take it to a muffler shop and try to get it shortened to fit.

You are probably not a fan of buschur exhausts but here is what I did to mine.
Blacked out and cut to fit better

Since the magnaflow muffler is already set back you don't have to worry about seeing a huge cannister sticking out of the rear. The flat black makes it impossible to see at night.

i love buschur, i liked davids car however he said i can only do that with the full v-band exhaust.
i think yours is way too low, you can see the muffler from the side of the car!!! i guess i am just too picky, I want the muffler to be almost hidden from all angles, i'd rather have a tip sticking out 4 inches then be able to see a big fat muffler when checking out my car.

just pointing out whats important, people posting pics of their tip only sticking out 1/2" but still being able to see 90% of a big fat muffler makes no difference for what im looking for. I don't even know if I can acheive what im looking for, I'd have to pick the right exhaust simply because of how it sits, instead of performance reasons or sound.

I guess the "look" part of exhausts I like installed are exhausts with a muffler where the tip comes out from the muffler but is not actually attatched, i.e buschur, rs-r exmag, etc. those seem to show the least muffler for obvious reasons.

Not my car, but if you paint the muffler black it would be pretty stealth

Blacktrack, what muffler is that and what did you have done? Did Buschur do that for you? Cause I just PM'd david yesterday and he told me only V-band can have the JDM Solution....

Also got pics from the side? and when it was painted black?
