That is exactly my point..
it a drag car, no need for an oil cooler.
as a drag car i think the oil does not have enough time to actually get very hot.
that is why Dave doesnt run one, but again not all our cars live one quarter mile at a time... there is more to an EVO than going fast in a straight line.
well that at least why i bought mine
were I am driving around normally I see oil temps of 100 deg Celsius driving around town.
on the track after a few hot laps it gets up to 130 deg.
Drag cars work very hard for 10 secs....

it is your car and you can mod it at your will, or do what you want.
for a DD car and one that sits in traffic, I would leave my Oil cooler to work.
do you have an oil temp gauge to check where your oil temp is at.
trust me it makes no diff to me whether you drive with your oil cooler or not but i would not as my car see's the track often.

wow....most of you guys are so freaking gay.
Don't worry about the haters Jeff. Everyone hated on me when I posted pics of my block off plates......talking about how my oil cooler hated me, blah, blah, blah. Oh wait...I don't have an oil cooler!
But I just have a drag car......

OMG... As been stated, you dont NEED THE OIL COOLER for DD driving. Unless your trying to drive like your at Limerock or something in traffic, then I doubt the oil times will rise substantially enough to harm your motor. Why dont you just ask Slorice or vwjeff or DB himself!!!! They ALL DD their cars. They seem to be JUST fine without them.
Looks good for the track Jeff. Not putting down Paul but it looks better then tape! LOL.
