new gauge look
Well, you can look in my sig. to see my car is pretty much complete. A member on here was parting out his interior gauge cluster and I scooped it up. I think gruppe-s makes it. Anyway I used to have my gauges on the steering column but I wanted to clean up the interior a bit.
Before anyone comments I know I am missing a gauge. I think I may buy an aquamist gauge to fill the whole (I run an SMC alky kit but u can run the gauge with this kit)
Anyway

AFTER
SO FOLLOWING YOUR FEED BACK MY AEM GAUGE HAS BEEN SWITCHED TO WHITE....SO EVERYTHING IS COLOR MATCHED.

Second, I don't really car about color matching But....look at my first pic. My AEM Uego gauge has a white face too....so I can change it to make the two gauges match white if you think that would look better. What do ya think?

Best spot for glancing at them is at the A pillar. Putting the gauges at the former radio location makes the interior look a little better, less cheep.
Oh and AEM wideband looks ugly as hell. I hate their gauge, it doesnt seem to go well with any other gauge. Their all bulky and with too much depth.

To me I think it's worth sacrificing the best placement for overall aesthetics. IMO A-Pillar gauges look terrible in ANY car and gauges on the steering column don't look much better. Whenever I see that it just screams "RICE" and "Low Rent."
Keeping the gauges where it looks OEM like the OP looks far better and is the only way I would go.
This applies to street cars of course. Purpose built race cars need gauges where they are best seen.

Thank you for the comment though...as I agree that the car looks a hell of a lot cleaner.
