You can put it above the rear view mirror. It is nice and high (for early detection over crests) and not too conspicuous and you can hard wire it dropping down from the dome light area. just be careful that any window tint isn't obscuring the detector because it will reduce range. You can use black vinyl on the outside to compleatly hide it
im going to stick it under the mirror as high as i can, will try to run the cord through the head liner,,, but i have NO CLUE how toget under it,, i hate working on the interior becuz 1 slip and you've got some nasty **** to look at for ever after

any tips?!

You can tuck it under the headliner and A piller without even removing a screw! Just stuff the wire underneath and remove the dome light to feed it through the last few inches. It's real easy to do without really any risk. Good luck

I mounted my V1 behind the mirror and my remote display is in the dash. I ran the power wires under the headliner and down the a-pillar.

What version is that? Where is laser detector on that one? Minie is lower right. That is why I was able to mount it behind the mirror. I like how hidden it is back there. With the black mirrir and detector, it is hard to tell it is there from the outside.

Nope. Remove the dome light assembly and a-pillar. The run a hanger under the headliner and draw the wire through. Not hard at all. There is also plenty of room on the passenger side to drop the wire down behind the dash toward the ECU to get power.

The fuse box is fine, but I used the ECU power since it was easily accessable with the Fields harness. There is probably plenty of room on the drivers side too. I just haven't looked.
