Just spoke to my dealer today and they will definitely be taking care of the problem. They will repaint that small area, adjust the door and place this clear strip kit on BOTH sides. Apparently their is a part # for this.

Just got back from the dealership to complaim about the SAME problem and they said they will NOT cover it under warrenty. They showed me a flyer reguarding the problem and that they are not covering any claims.
They have the part # for the 3M ****, but too little too late.
Mitsubishi never ceases to amaze me.

The service manager at my dealership contact somebody directly at mitsubishi to confirm that this problem should be covered under warranty. He said he spoke with somebody in engineering and that it is a know small problem well down on their list of issues to deal with.
