4g63k Shoot

Whats up guys,

I finnaly got around to taking some descent shots of my car. Im not a pro or anything and this was my first time behind a Nikon D40. The reason for my little shoot was because i did some changes to the interior so i figured i would share them with you. I would Like to thank Eddie AKA Appleman here on the forums for helping me with the install.. Its rare where you find someone that will go above and beyond to help a person they bearly know soo to him! ( the gauge panel and the center console is sprayed flat black )

BIG THANKS to my buddy Manny for Letting me borrow his Camera!

What guage panel is that? Where did you buy that, and how does it mount?

Looks good. I really like those gauges, can't beat the price in my opinion.

D40's a good starter camera too. I got one for christmas last year and aside from my the gripes of functionality, or lack there'of. It takes good quality photos for most everything I need.

I hate how suade turns out with a reddish-orangeish tinge to it if you dont get the exposure just right too. (Photo 6) I was trying to take pictures of my DSM interior and I had to readjust the settings every 5min. because kept going sunny-cloudy.

btw: I really like picture 12. I like the clouds / dusk background.

The gauge panel is an AutoMetrer 52mm basically u have to modify your stock radio panel. you drill two holes and place the pod into the spot where you radio was.. Thanks for the comments guys! i also sprayed the whole panel and the center console flat black..
