haha damn all the limo tint looks so hot. i can only imagine it makes it hard to see at night but it looks so darn good. I have the ssl so yes I have the black leather, which would make it look darker. the legal limit in PA is 30%, which would look dark but keep the cops off my tail. seeing all these cars makes me want tint more and more. keep the pictures coming! anyone from the PA area able to chime in and throw there .2 cents about level of darkness and cop attention?

would like to talk to hallstar a little more, already had a tint shop in mind but might be able to be persuaded to make a trip down south, I have a couple of friends looking for a good professional job as well, just not many pics on the website.

bump it for some sweet rides! thanks guys and gals

monkey ^, i just want to say that i officially hate you. I had to decide between my evo and one of my fave cars, an 03 anniversary edition cobra. seeing that you have both an evo and an 04 evo just isnt fair, haha.

also, thanks for your service in Iraq, get those pics posted up!

thats a tough spirit you got. I can relate to that in regards to sports but nothing close to what you guys are going through. I know a lot of people back home are giving mixed opinion about the new election and crap and honestly i dont care, I think everyone needs to support the troops regardless, but thats just me. okay, enough of my off topic rant.

I cant believe you have an evo, a SC gt, a cobra all for fun cars, truly jealous. what % tint do you have on your car and what color? any opinions about how you like/dislike it?

wish you a speedy recovery and safe trip home.

Do tint, but moderate like 35%. The dark Evo interior makes tint look a shade darker then it is. I have 35% and it looks like most other cars 20% due to all dark interior. Tint saves interior and makes a car less "cluttered" by not directly exposing the interior. Moderate tint percentage will attract less 5-0 attention. Plus an Evo has a large greenhouse for a smaller passenger car, esp the rear windows (CT9A at least)

Once again thank you very much!!

Well on the MR I have 5%:
Pros:
Very dark and mean looking
Nice on very sunny days

Cons:
VERY dark at night
Have to lower windows so cops dont give me a ticket

On the GT I have 25%:
Pros:
Its tint

Cons:
Can see everything inside
Not that great on very sunny days

On the Cobra I have NONE:
Pros:
Everyone can see me

Cons:
Really hot on sunny days
Can see everything inside

On the Donkey I have sunglasses!

Check my other post here and you can see the EVO.

yea I am thinking about 30%. with the dark interior it should look darker. i always wanted 20% but im beginning to think that it would be super dark with black leather. feel free to post up 20% and 30% so everyone can see the difference!

Even a slight tint helps a ton on hot days. I've had tint on every car ive had (Neon, Supra, M3) and have never once been pulled over or asked about it.

Not everyone gets pulled over, it only happens if you have them darker than what is allowed.

To tint or not to tint is the question...
I'd say to check your state's laws and stay within the standard. That way, you don't have to waste money having darker than allowed tint on your windows. Not to mention that once it's time for your safety inspection, unless you know someone willing to let you slide, then they break the law as well by allowing you to skirt by.
