I hate the high pressure spray into my hood vents... likely doesn't hurt anything, but I'd rather avoid it on a hot motor... at the least it makes for water spots places rain never reaches.

anyhow i've been through the touchless carwash at least twice with the evo.
I am worried about the engine being hot with all that water goin through it, but it shouldn't be a problem.
Personally i don't like touchless carwashes 'cause there are always water marks afterwards and it doesn't clean very well under the wing leaving you to do it by hand anyways.

yeah, I understand. I especially understand with old (classic cars)... but for some reason, I just don't fell that way about newer cars. But I do see what you mean...I am that way with some things in my life... so I still hold to my obnoxious opinion for ME, but I can totally understand for others out there that it is important. We all have different priorities. Plus, I think I am just super lazy!! That's really what its about... I am just too damn lazy to wash my car.... I know, that is pretty pathetic. I think I will wash it this weekend out of feeling guilty.
