Do we need any type of adapter/kit to upgrade our stock HIDs to the 8k bulbs?

Nope I just got the bulbs and replaced it with the stocks.

our HID bulbs are D2S's right? Does $160 a pair sound right for the 8ks?

NO!!!!! $160 is double the price you should pay for a pair. you can get osram or philips for $80-90 shipped on ebay

DAMN!!!!!!!!! sick @ZZ pics! how do u guys take pics like that with all the lights? i use my D60 with long open shutter and it still come out dark.

how long have you been running the 8k and if for a while have you had any issues with the housing from the bulb being hotter than stock
