Finally installed new Enkei's on my 05 LY EVO
Well, finally I got my new set of "matte black", +35mm offset, 15.5 lb, 17 X 8 RPF1's from Tirerack. Had my little bro mount and high speed balance them with my existing OEM Advans. I then bolted them up using a set of black Rays duralumin lugnuts for added weight reduction. I found some time today to take the car out of the garage to snap these pics. I must say that I'm pleased with the way the car looks now and wish these wheels were available at the time I got my silver RPF1's.... but now, my silver's are up for sale.
Feel free to comment on the pics.

nice choice on the RPF1's i am waiting on delivery of some 17x9.5 +38 enkei's myself. i cant wait to get them babies on. Oh and no offense or anything but that fender gap makes your wheels look like 15's on your car man. again no offense intended

Yeah, tints would be a nice, interesting addition to the car, but IMHO, I have trouble seeing at night, though I am not blind though I see 20/20 in each eye, and 20/15 combined, but I want to minimize anything thats gonna restrict my night vision, and this includes tint....
Yeah I realize that i do have fender gap... and for this i really dont care too much right now, cuz I like my stock height evo, with the stock OEM ground clearances. Roads around NYC arent that great, thats why I left the height of the car alone.

I understand completely, luckily in NC the roads are nice enough to allow a lowered vehicle without completely killing yourself. If you like it then go for it. it is your car do as you see fit. I am in no way judging your choice. actually quite the opposite. i wish i didnt have the bug bad enough to where i could leave well enough alone. i just cant do it lol. As soon as i get a car i start taking things apart and changing almost everything. Good on ya man. good luck with the car.

I can understand that as well, it still looks great.
