I'd say either on AS. I wanna get some VII's on my TB though. Of course whatever gets those stockers off sooner would be the best option.

 

Its a japanese paint that I bought from a local shop here. Its about $35 a can. all you need is one can. I used pin stripes to from autozone to paint the lines like the 7 tails... The spray called Vans from Dia-wyte.

 

I may be a little bias but i prefer the 7 tail to the 8's. The JDM 8MR's and 9's though..... with the darker housing are wicked (esp on darker coloured cars).

 

Get the VII! Just don't understand what you americans like about that amber sidemarkers :P

 

JDM is the way to go!

 

I dont like being that guy that points out the obvious..... but sometimes I have to Taillight lesson... So if you're refering to JDM 8 tails... they're not the blacked out ones...

Usually i would say the JDM EVO 8 but for a AS..... I would just go with the EVO IX tail lights.

 

Evo IX USDM tails on a AS...they look sexy as hell on AS evos IMO...the silver/white area where the turn signals are matches AS so good

 

I'm with you, or just pop ur stockers open and black them out... When I first got my evo in 03, that was the big thing to do, everyone blacked out their tails, and headlights cuz they look better... and then what happens, the 9 comes standard with them... here was my car with the blacked out stock tails...

Both are nice. I think they each work with the generation of the chassis they were designed for. The JDM VII's have a subtle approach for those with minimal modifications, and are trying to stray from the flashy look. The MR tails work for those with a JDM 9 bumper, and want a bit more contrast in the rear giving it more of an aggressive look.

 

Those are evo 8 MR tails..

The evo 8 tails have just the chrome with amber turn signal
