without the wing will the trunk just fly up?

Nope, that's what the latch is for.

Unless you mean when you open the trunk, then it does open pretty quickly since a lot of the weight is gone.

i just took mine off n i still have holes in my gg 9 ... can some one tell me what they used to close the holes? i dont want to rust them lol
