My only issue with Rota is the fact that it's a "knock off" company. If they were to design there own products I would have no problem with them. When people complain about R&D they're referring to the fact that Rota "steals" it's designs from other companies.
Also, it's my opinion that the existence of Rota hurts the resale value of "better quality" wheels. I've sold Volk CE28n's and Advan RS's on this site over the last couple years. In both cases I had people lowballing me and stating how they could buy brand new Rota's in the same design for less then what I was asking for my one year old used wheels.

Sorry... I got new wheels/tires/spline drive lugnuts/mount/balance to my door step for what most wanted for just wheels. No fender rolling, no spacers. Whole package is 45lbs even per corner. Not stellar, but not bad either when compared to stock.
However, this is my street setup... still want a track set up when I recoup some funds
