however i have the solution and i have 30 of them i had cut and ready to sell and can get more

just peel off the cover on the back and stick it on after you remove the wiper and clean the glass

its just a black abs plastic so you can even scuff it and paint it to match any color you want. i took pics in the shop with lights overhead so it glared and you could see the item well

$13 shipped with paypal fees put wiper plug in the subject/title

hondadave69@aol.com is paypal

pic before

after

Interesting...I really like my rear wiper but I've thought about pulling it out for a little while now...Ill have to keep this in mind...

I don't have a rear wiper. If you were to somehow get a rock chip in your rear window you could get it replaced with one from an 04 RS by insurance. Would be coverd under comprehensive portion so your rates wouldnt go up.

Mini Coopers have a .685" hole.. To small
Mk4 Golf/GTI Wiper Delete Solution is for a 1" hole.. still to small
The plugs I ordered from the Mustang isn't beefy enough imo for a exterior plug
The last one to check is the Honda one, I will work that lead this weekend

So where did you get it?

So I e-mailed RHDJDM.com, Heres how that went:

Dear Shrek,

Your question regarding product Moonface Rear Wiper Hole Cap 37mm has been answered

Your question: Will this work on a Evo VIII?

Their answer is: If the Evo VIII has that size hole then it will work no problem.

...Wow like no ****

This might work, what would be awesomer if I could keep the glass intact and sell it to one of you guys who wants a rear wiper! Ill call the glass place and see if they will play along

Rear Wiper Delete Plug

Just call your local Ford dealer this seems to be the best looking and cheapest solution. Ford part number: 377901-S

I got one for about $7

It's only .75 cents online but everyone I found charges about $10 bucks for shipping.

I'm looking for something a little more rugged like these below. None of them are the right size thought.

If you do a search there is a thread with a link to a place that make plastic caps and plugs that sends samples out for free. This is how I got a plug for mine!
