Ok so after I am done with my build- I plan to paint the car... I don't want it to be lost in the sea of silver 600HP evos. Plus I want it to be THE OFFICIAL MWE Evo (Midwestevos). With that said I want to do a full paint job if there's leftover money to do so-which I'm hoping there will be.

I'm looking for the car to keep and add to it's CF accents (front lip, trunk, side skirts, exhaust shield) and I would love to paint the car a grayish blue- sort of like our site colors. The darker look I think will look sick with the dark wheels I'm ordering (dark gunmetal) and CF.

I've been doing a lot of searching lately for makes and models of cars that use such a color- but I'm not having much luck. Something blue/gray metallic.

looks realy good- but maybe too much like graphite gray? Maybe it's just my monitor.

 

hey thats my boys RSTI. the steel mica blue is a sweet color. i thought it was GG until i saw the blue in it. if you look at the cardomain you can see my car behind his in the first pic.

 

I love the color- but I think I'm wanting something with a bit more blue. I can see a lot of people seeing it from afar and thinking it was GG.

yup kaymin's right? if i recall correctly,

it used to be yellow, he did a nice job with it the steel mica. i like it because its subtle unlike bby but more colorful than gg. would look good with almost any wheel color. just my $.02

I think Mazda and maybe even Audi might have a color similar to what I want.

 

I forgot where I read the article, but if my memory serves me right, I'm 90% sure it was a bmw steel blue metallic!
