So im picking up some MR BBS Wheels...but I want the Diamond Black/Gunmetal look.

Is it possible to strip the gray paint off, or do I have to get them powdercoated?

I think you may be confused. The IX MR's BBSs ARE Gunmetal. The IX SE's BBSs are Black Diamond.

So which color do you want?

the MR's are grey..almost graphite grey in color

 

^^^ thats how I'd put it. I wish I had BBSs haha, I bought my MR used and for some reason the guy got rid of them . But to the OP, they are either dark grey/gunmetal (MRs) or Diamond Black (SEs) which to me is the shiny-er, silver-y of the two choices
