Radar Detector\Laser Jammer Thread

Im looking at installing a valentine 1 and laser interceptor in the very near future and want to see other peoples set-ups for "preventative measures". Such as locations and anything custom installed.

I have mine hard wired into the brown line coming off the cigarette lighter..its a prettly simple, but time consuming install. the v1 comes with necessary hardware (a little phone jack looking thing with a short red and black wires) . just remove the whole center console, splice into the brown wire with short red wire, ground the black and run the cable that connects to the unit to where you want it. i ran mine from the center console over through the steering column then up the a pillar and over toward the center where i have the unit suctioned right next to the rearview mirror...i can post some pics if you want. Valentine 1 is the best btw!!

Yeesh, why go through the hassle of opening the console when you can just wire into the fusebox so easily accessible at the bottom left of the dash?

Ok check it out, here is a sweet setup.....Dont ask me how it is done, the previous owner did the install.

The clock has been removed and in its place is this mini display for the V1, same screen as the actual radar just smaller. The actual radar sits in the rear window. The volume/pwr control sits in the ashtray. When parked i have a hat that covers the radar so no one is the wiser.

The V1 is the best radar by far!!!! The luxury of this radar is the directional arrows which helps ALOT!! The amount of range/time this radar gives is the best I have ever seen.

As far as jammers go there are a few out there for laser, not radar. Look up Blinder m25, Laser Interceptor, which is the best out there.
