So let me start off by asking that if you are going to say something like "shave all emblems is better" or "I don't like emblems at all", then go ahead and press the back button.

I've always liked the fact that MRs had pretty little emblems setting them apart from us GSR/RS owners. Well, this is my attempt to set us GSR owners apart from them.



This emblem is actually off of a Evo V GSR. The R in it is VERY similar to the MR, yet different, kinda like the GSR is to the MR.

I'm taking this down to my buddies at the shop tomorrow to get them to cut it. I'm getting 2, one for the front grill, and one for the rear, same placement as the MR.

Anyone have any comments on how to improve? Anyone else want me to price them together (the more I buy, the cheaper they are)?

 

I actually like it. I think you should play around with different color combos. But i like the idea. Good luck.

I'm pretty sure if they weren't an "mr" or "rs", then they were "gsr's". I'll double check the manual tomorrow. There were definitely no "gsr" badges on the usdms.

That actually looks pretty nice, you should get 2 and put one in the front. I put an MR emblem in the front and it looks pretty nice

 

I put a GSR badge on the trunk of my X. It was just a cheap eBay badge and didn't look good at all, so it was off in a couple of days. I'm curious to see how yours turns out though.

 

If you can make them in "anodized" red like the EVO X MR badge I'd be down for one. Post up that color and you may have a sale!

Well, I'm still a beginner at Photoshop CS3. I'll see what I can do as far as the colors go. The Quick Selection Tool works wonders, but manipulating colors on it will be rough.

I use MS Paint for alot of stuff, too (I.E.- I used it to edit my Avatar). Maybe I'll work with it, too.

 

Does anyone know where we can actually buy the Evo V GSR emblem itself?

 

well its better than GTR or TYPE R emblems. i think itll look weird. hope to be proven wrong though

 

id definetly be into one if you get get one in a black color or chrome black that **** would look bad ***
