Thanks guys, the real credit goes to Jon from Rocket Photography http://www.flickr.com/photos/jonsylvester/ and Sam from Apex Photography http://www.flickr.com/photos/25378080@N05/
The car scene in Canada is drying up a little out east due to the strict laws being put in place to curb (no pun intended) street racing. They are ticketing cars heavily if they have any modification that is for "racing" and it's at the discretion of the officer.
Here in Alberta, the police mainly just want us not to speed, and not make noise, other than that they are pretty lenient, and very fair towards us. As you know we have access to all JDM cars 15 years and older, I've had my share of skylines, and still have my right hand drive MR2. The scene is made up of 50% JDM, and 50% cdm/usdm cars.
We have a total of 5 Evo8/9's in Edmonton, and probably 10 Evo 1's, lots of X's.
I have the only 8-MR, theres a 9-MR, an 8-RS, 8-GSR, and 9-GSR. They are still pretty rare which is nice, if any of you are looking to sell your evo, advertising it in Canada (specifically Alberta seeing as we have all the money) might fetch you a sale?

Very nice car greg. I don't often look back and say "I shoulda gone gg" but these pics kinda take me there.
*edit - that is gg, right? Some of those shots have such a nice color to them + you car is amazingly clean, that it is almost hard to tell.

Not a glare, just the light bouncing off the stock bumper. It's angled like that. Go check your rear bumper if you have an Evo, that flare out is NOT a diffuser.

See the flare out?

So, all in all, they are pretty easy to import and register. Both of my skylines together cost me 10k all said and done. The mr2 cost me 12 by itself cause its so minty with 11000 km's on it, no rust anywhere, and perfect paint.
